What happens if I have an older puppy, say a six-month-old, you may ask. Well, that isn't a problem. Depending on your pup's age, physical build, and demeanour, we'll place you in a class that will suit your needs.
While the period of rapid learning ends at the age of about five months, the capacity older youngsters to learn is still amazing. In a class situation, once he has settled, he may learn to rely on the example of others, which is a great training aid. All our classes are small enough to ensure you'll get individual attention and guidance.

Problem behaviour

Some of the older puppies join us because they are becoming too boisterous, destructive, or difficult to control. If you are considering bringing your older pup to school for one of these reasons, it is the perfect time to address the problem. We have a team of animal behaviourists, led by Charlene Kruger, who has well in excess of 25 years experience.
Our policy is to evaluate your puppy's behaviour at the school while interacting with other humans and dogs. Thereafter we will discuss his behaviour with you, advise you on corrective measures and help you implement them. Attending regular classes forms a part of the process as it establishes and maintains a structured relationship between you and you pup. This is vital for successful behaviour modification at home.
